On the 23rd March 1985, Ian opened the practice only a few doors up at 19 Gymea Bay Rd.

Since then fashions have changed, new designers have come and gone and technology has progressed in leaps and bounds and after 38 years Ian has hung up the phoropter and handed the reigns over to his son Brenton and our Optometrist Dr Leilei Zhou.

With a passion for customer care and a keen interest in Dry Eye Management Leilei began the journey of adding Gymea Dry Eye Clinic to IC Optometrist. We look forward to serving our customers in Jannali and neighbouring suburbs to give you relief from this prevalent condition.
